Identity is something that a person creates on his own, whether it’s in the social or professional terms. A person usually presents his professional identity with the aid and help of the business cards. The same card is presented to the clients, suppliers, peers, colleagues and everybody else, important or non important related to one’s professions and it is thus crucial to keep the card appropriate and informative. The business cards should never be flashy, as if it is inviting you to a wedding and nor it should be too dull so that nobody wants to look at it. It should not too informative that it looks like your bio data and nor should it be too blank that the second person does not get what he is looking for. Hence, while designing your business cards, make sure you keep it simple, neat and present it with the basic contact information and details.

Confused Seasons
In the chilling breeze of winters with a hot cup of coffee in my hands, I look at the cold, grey sky that had suddenly started to burst into pink and orange flames and rays of light and color. The sun had started to make it presence felt in the cold, dull world by spreading its shiny colors on us. Suddenly feeling the warmth of the sun, I had to remove my sweater to allow the rays of light and hope enter my soul. I decided to go down to the park and enjoy and embrace the new radiance of the new sun. I wore my slippers and walked down to the pavement and was welcomed by a shower of rain and a new fusion, only to my dismay till the time it’s nothing but the confused season.
Facing Criticism
Criticism is nothing but adverse comments and remarks. Every person has to face criticism at home, school, college and workplace but the way you take it depends and varies from person to person. Facing criticism in the right and positive manner is actually an art that cannot be easily practiced by everyone. Your boss will always be critical about your performance but to learn how to deal with the same is very crucial. The only thing you need to understand is that someone criticizes to only make you better. And hence you should stop crying over it and always try to derive the learning from the criticism, understand your mistakes and then try to rectify them to become better and better for a healthy and better work life and development.
First Impression
Everything that happens for the first time is always important and crucial. The first time you kiss, the first day of school, first day of office and even the first time you open your eyes in the world. Then why should the first impression not be significant? Actually, it is and this significance grows and enhanced when you enter into the corporate world. A person needs to be very careful about the way he conducts himself in the office. The work, respect and the trust of the seniors for an employee actually can depend on the first impression he makes at them. Hence, be careful with not only your attire but the whole body posture and body language to look confident and intelligent in front of your bosses, as well as the colleagues.
Integrating Studies with Work
CA, CFA, MBA and the list is never ending. The competition everywhere has led to the start and growth of numerous degrees and educational qualifications that help people in attaining knowledge and higher and better job positions in the corporate world. And people tend to mess their lives and make it more complicated by pursuing these courses while being involved in their jobs. But is it really that simple to work for twelve hours and a day and then get back to your books at the end of the day. No, it’s not and that is the reason people land up performing badly in both the areas. So, make sure to manage your time and energy for an efficient integration of your studies with work.
Meeting The Meetings
Meetings, discussions, group tasks etc are all part and parcel of the corporate world and the corporate life of a person. You are never given a choice of attending or not attending a meeting. But meetings also have certain decorum and a certain set of rules attached to them. The first thing that is required in the meeting is the preparation. You should never go unprepared for a meeting unless and until you want to make a complete fool out of yourself in front of ten other people. Also, punctuality and visual presentation is very important. Never ever be late for a meeting, dress neatly and appropriately and always greet everyone with a smile before engaging into the discussions. Be sure to meet these basic requirements for a meeting that can go on smoothly.
