“Beep… Beep” beeped the machine when I swiped my access card at the entrance of my office door. I enter with great poise and excitement of starting a new day. I greet my juniors, bid hello to a few colleagues, pat the back of my office buddies and say “good-morning” to the bosses. But something seemed to be a little different today. People seemed to be extra friendly, the smiles on their faces had somehow grown bigger and wider and somehow everyone found joy in pronouncing my name again and again. I wondered and wondered but was unable to figure out the reason. And then came the worst minute of my life when my boss comes to me after an important meeting and whispers in my ears, “It’s not the right time to fly”. And that is when I switched to elastic pants forever and ever.
